| Many companies are now realising that a significant proportion of their target audience are not at home at the point that they wish to respond to an advert they’ve seen, especially of course if they are mobile at the time. Other benefits include it providing an alternative contact option for people who couldn’t get through by telephone due to high demand, buying time to call them back. It will also enable a company to automatically gather contact numbers around the clock, and allow it to advertise a 24 hour text-in service without necessarily requiring the expensive overhead of a 24 hour manned call centre. Furthermore it will be constantly building a contact number database of people who have expressed an interest in buying from the company, which can be used for future marketing.
